In January 2014, Goldie passed away before the opening of Goldie’s Farm in Salton City, CA. Though she is no longer living amongst us, Goldie’s spirit is strongly felt at the farm. In fact, a collection of original paintings, drawings and photographs that were created specifically in her honor are hanging in the Main House. To date, numerous mixed-media installations based on Goldie’s Facebook Journey are featured on her personal Website http://goodgirlgoldie.com and her story “In Search of the Mago” has also been on exhibition at local galleries and museums in So. California. Hence, our goal is to always keep her spirit alive at Goldie’s Farm and in the art world.
