Everyone here at Goldie’s Farm is a “Flower Child.” We come from different paths in life, yet we all share similar philosophies that bond us together in peace and harmony. During the Fall, Spring, and sometimes even the Summer months we invite others to join our team as interns and volunteers. Flower Children are invaluable to us and help with any and everything. They offer generous time and labor in a variety of ways from caring to the plants, building, painting, making food, washing dishes and preparing the main house for guests.  

“Chief” CARLOS GARCIA is a co-owner of Goldie’s Farm. He is a retired high school drama teacher who is also an actor/poet/director/playwright/artist and film maker. He considers himself a highly spiritual individual and finds the Salton Sea environment a perfect inspiration for creating art.

JACALYN LOPEZ GARCIA aka Goldie is a co-owner & booking manager of Goldie’s Farm. Jacalyn is grateful for the gifts and training she received from her mother a Yaqui healer and her father who became a Buddhist in his 20s. She is excited about sharing her knowledge and experiences as an entrepreneur, Cannabliss Infusions specialist, transmedia visual storyteller/artist/photographer and enjoys offering services as a minister. Jacalyn’s photography and multimedia artworks have also been widely exhibited in major museums and galleries locally, nationally, & internationally, including numerous publications.
